Our arguments helped set the table for the new American industrial strategy, which has unleashed nearly $4 trillion in public investments. We catalyzed conversations about how to quickly and equitably build the renewable energy infrastructure our planet needs, without sacrificing democratic values. And we’ve been making the case for a policy approach that addresses inequalities, expands supply-side investment, and protects American workers. This year, our work was highlighted everywhere from congressional testimony to The New York Times to The View.
The tide is shifting. Progressives are winning the battle of ideas. But there is still so much work ahead.
In 2024 and beyond, Roosevelt will keep doing what we do best: shaping the debates of the day while keeping sight of the horizon, opening up new possibilities for how our economy should work—and who it should serve.
A top priority will be to show how the new economic agenda can rebalance power in the economy. We’ll also lay out a comprehensive vision for a full suite of economic institutions and policies that can work together to create the green, equitable future we seek.
And, because ideas don’t move themselves, we’re launching the Roosevelt Society: a community of changemakers working together across government, law, the nonprofit sector, and academia at unprecedented scale. This builds on our success placing Roosevelters in roles of influence and power, from the Departments of Commerce, Treasury, and Labor to White House offices like the National Economic Council and Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs.
Your support makes all of this possible. Join us by making a contribution to the Roosevelt Institute today. Thank you for all that you do.
Sincerely,
