Dairy Storage & Handling Grant Applications Open

Applications for the Northeast Dairy Business Innovation Center's On-Farm Milk Storage & Handling Grant are now open.

Projects funded by this grant will streamline milk pick up, create efficiencies around milk storage, and improve handling for both farmers and their processors.

Dairy farmers can apply for funding to purchase larger bulk tanks, milk pipelines, glycol chillers, milk loading systems, reclaim systems for water, cooling equipment, plate coolers/heat exchangers, and to cover equipment installation costs.

Awards will range from $15,000 to $50,000, with a 25% match commitment.    Match waivers are also available.

Applications are open until January 18.
