Friend —

I know messages like these can be a bit pesky sometimes, but they make a huge difference for our team. Give me a moment to explain why.

Every survey you fill out allows us to build a campaign around our shared values. Every petition you sign sends a powerful message. And most importantly, every dollar you give helps our team make sure we have the resources to win re-election and keep Minnesota blue this November.

But according to my finance and digital staffers, we’re coming up short on our goals ahead of the first FEC deadline of the year.

That's a serious problem for our campaign — especially with President Trump targeting Minnesota and dumping resources into our state. And the truth is, my opponent can count on Mitch McConnell’s network of right-wing mega-donors and super PACs to win, but I refuse to play that game. I want to win the right way.

So, if we're going to hold our own in the final weeks before the first (and arguably most important) FEC deadline of this critical election year, we need to catch up on our goals — quickly. And if we're going to do that it's going to come from messages like these, because I am never going to beg special interests to cut me a big check.

So, here’s where I ask you:

Do you think you could add a contribution of $10 or more right now as part of our push to get our grassroots fundraising back on track before our first FEC deadline of the year? I need your help more than ever.

Thank you for everything you do for our campaign. A lot of candidates out there wish they had supporters like you they could count on in moments like these. I know how lucky I am to have you on my team.

Thanks again,

Tina
