Anti-abortion extremists are relentless. I know that you know this, but I’m still shocked on the daily by how many people DON’T KNOW what’s happening at abortion clinics across the country.
Much of our work this year was facing down these domestic terrorists at clinics or on the streets, alerting abortion providers to potential threats, and gathering evidence to help clinics pursue legal cases against these creeps. We can be there for these clinics because you have been there for us.

So what does a year dealing with misogyny’s henchmen look like?
- AAF team members traveled to Greenville SC and Atlanta GA to help escort patients and provide clinic defense when hundreds of Operation Save America cultists descended on local clinics.
- We warned sixteen clinics about potential threats of clinic invasions by groups like Live Action and Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (a.k.a. the fetus-stealers) and provided them with “face sheets” to help identify people who might try to sneak into the clinics posing as patients.
- We organized dossiers of background information and digital evidence on serial clinic harassers and trespassers for seven clinics to share with law enforcement and legal counsel.
- We provided lunch or other treats to eight clinics as a virtual hug to the staff who endured scary protests or invasions at their clinics.
If you think pro-gun, evangelical white nationalists wearing dad jeans and tactical gear while screaming about the end-times and calling you a murderer are scary… just imagine if they showed up at your work or doctor’s office on the regular!
