Aloha Fellow Republicans,

We want to update you on a couple very important issues; 1) Our important grass roots structure in the Party and 2) The importance for you to become a delegate for the County and State Conventions. This email is going to be longer than the normal couple paragraphs that experts say adults are willing to read these days, so please prove the experts wrong and read this to the end today – mahalo.

GRASS ROOTS - Where the action is!

As we conduct out-reach to fellow conservatives around the State we too frequently run into conservatives who provide us feedback that the local “Party” isn’t doing anything, the local “Party” needs to do more . . . . We agree and disagree. We should be doing more, we want to do more. BUT WHO IS “THE PARTY”? Answer: you, we, you and we. You and we are "The Party". There is no secret group of paid staff “serving” as “The Party”. In fact, there is NO paid staff. We are all volunteers with lives and responsibilities just like everyone else; just like you. So let’s talk a bit about the most important element of “The Party”, you and your role in the grass roots organization at the Precinct level.

Mark Levin was recently interviewed by Dan Bongino and Mark said that the MOST IMPORTANT persons that can save our Country are Precinct Captains; in Hawaii we call them Precinct Presidents. But whatever they are called, Precinct Presidents nurture the roots of the term “grass roots”. There are no grass roots without Precinct Presidents who recruit, mobilize and lead volunteers and voters within their neighborhoods. There IS NO PARTY without grass roots, there is no "Party" without YOU! You and collectively WE are “The Party”. What are YOU doing to improve your neighborhood, your District, your County, Your State, “Your PARTY” and your Country? If you are doing something . . . absolutely great, mahalo! If you are doing nothing or next to nothing (social media warrior) . . . well, let’s get started, now is the time!

If you are a motivated conservative, please consider carving out a piece of your already filled schedule, scrap it, put it on hold and invest that precious time towards helping “The Party” and therefore the Country for the next 8 short months to Make Hawaii Great Again and Keep America Great. Not later . . . NOW!

So How? . . . . What can you do right now?

* Second - Contact your District Chair TODAY, see contacts below. Call or email your Chair and tell him or her you want to help, you want to be a Precinct President and you want to become a delegate and attend the upcoming County and State Conventions.
+ Deadline to become a delegate for the Honolulu County Convention is March 18^th.
+ Deadline to become a delegate for the State Convention is May 6th.
* Third - Volunteer. Contact your Precinct President or District Chair; and/or Contact the Party; and/or Contact the Hawaii Trump Victory Campaign. All three entities have the exact same priorities; you can help us with:
1. Increase voter registration of NEW REPUBLICANS throughout the State.
2. Increase PARTY MEMBERSHIP in the Hawaii Republican Party
3. Increase (greatly) the number of VOLUNTEERs to help the Campaign and "The Party" function better to achieve Priorities 1 and 2.


PREDICTIVE RESULTS: “if” all 51 of Hawaii’s Districts Chairs organize their Precincts, with all officer positions filled, all delegates positions filled and active with everyone in sync doing everything they need to do to organize the conservatives in their District, THEN, we "The Party" can move the needle and make a real and lasting difference in Hawaii. This is the challenge to you the reader of this email, "You the Party", you and everyone that makes up the “we” that is “The Party”. Can this happen overnight? Nope; can it happen in one election cycle? Maybe. Is it worth trying and see what results 8 months from now, 2 years from now, 5 years from now? Hell yes, it's worth it; we're working for America's future . . . . BARRON TRUMP 2052! So call your District Chair now - phone number and email is below.

District, Precinct, and Delegate Elections

Annual Precinct/District Meetings in a neighborhood near you are in their final stages with 3 more to go, including 1 redo due to lack of quorum. District Chairs will need to be elected in Districts 30 and 34. Another critical event to be started at these meetings is the selection of delegates to attend the Honolulu County Convention on March 28th and the State Convention on May 16th. If you're not a delegate already; become one!

HD 30, 34 and 45

Meetings are hereby announced for unorganized House Districts 30, 34 and 45. HD 30 includes Halawa, Pearl Harbor/Hickam, Sand Island and parts of Kalihi. HD 34 includes Pearl City, Waiau, Pacific Palisades, HD 45 includes West Mililani, Kunia and Waialua.

June 2, 2020 Candidate Filing Closes

* After the Honolulu County Convention, Republicans are invited to participate in the Prince Kuhio Parade in Kapaolei.
