Alright, there are a lot of things I need to go over with you so let's just dive straight into it. 

First off - Thanks for sending in the nominations, now I need you to vote in the AYD Awards! Voting will close on Thursday, 12/7 at 5pm. So vote now!

The winners will be announced at our annual Holiday Brunch happening this Saturday, December 9th over at Fire Works Pizza in Courthouse from 1:30-3:30pm. Tickets are still on sale so grab one if you haven't yet! We are also looking for event sponsors! Buy your tickets/become a sponsor now!

AYD leadership will also officially transition to the newly elected and appointed officers for 2024 at the Holiday Brunch where the new board will be sworn in. Thank you to the outgoing 2023 E-Board for the time, energy, and dedication that they brought to their roles, and for doing such an incredible job. 

And I know that the 2024 E-Board will carry on and take us to even greater heights. Here's a full list of your elected and appointed officers:

AYD @ Wreaths Across America

On December 16th, hundreds of people will gather to lay wreaths with Wreaths Across America at Arlington National Cemetery. AYD will once again be participating in this effort.

If you’ve never attended, it is a beautiful event to honor those who served our country. Morning of we will meet outside and across the street from the Arlington National Cemetary Metro Station at 8:30AM to walk over to the Memorial Avenue Entrance of the Arlington National Cemetery to get in line for the 9am volunteer time slot.

Online registration is required for wreath laying, so please fill out this form by December 9th at 11:59pm so we can register everyone at the same time in order to ensure we all have the same 9am time slot.

Remember to bring the registration form that will be emailed to you as well as a photo ID.
