Calls for a ceasefire will only help Hamas rearm and prepare for future attacks – they must be rejected.
Congress must continue to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Israel, reject calls for a ceasefire now, and ensure the Jewish state has the time, resources and diplomatic support it needs to win this war and bring all the hostages home.
Biden administration says Israel is taking unprecedented steps to help civilians in Gaza avoid combat zones.
Dear A.,
Yesterday on CNN, Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal was asked

directly by Dana Bash about the horror stories of Hamas’ mass rape and violence against women. Instead of unequivocally condemning the assault, she called for a “balanced” approach to the war.
Jayapal is one of the leading voices calling for an “indefinite ceasefire,” willfully ignoring that there was a ceasefire in place on the morning of October 7.
These calls for a ceasefire will only help Hamas rearm and prepare for future attacks – they must be rejected.

While Jayapal and other members of the Squad refuse to unequivocally blame Hamas, senior members of the Biden administration are rightfully condemning the terrorists.

In further revealing comments, State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller said Hamas refused to release the hostages because

“they don’t want those women to be able to talk about what happened to them during their time in custody." We must ensure Congress and the administration continue to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Israel, reject calls for a ceasefire now, and ensure the Jewish state has the time, resources and diplomatic support it needs to win this war and bring all the hostages home.
Israel’s operation advances: Today the IDF expanded its air and ground operations to destroy Hamas’ terrorist infrastructure in southern Gaza – while continuing to urge civilians to flee targeted areas.
As John Kirby said on Face the Nation, Israel “published online a map of places where people could go to avoid combat, and where they could find safety from combat. There's not a whole lot of modern militaries that would do that.”
Israel has now uncovered 800 tunnel shafts built by Hamas beneath civilian areas in the Gaza Strip. An IDF spokesperson said today that ground forces are operating “from building to building, from tunnel to tunnel” in densely populated combat areas that have been rigged with explosives by Hamas.
America must ensure our ally has the resources needed to defend itself, by itself – including by passing full funding for Israel’s security without added political conditions.
