As our governments, organizations, and businesses work to take measures to protect the public and continue to meet needs, our campaigns are as well.
Five of our Brand New Congress candidates are facing primaries in only 4 days. Others in New York and Massachusetts are gathering their signatures to secure their place on the ballot.
Canvassing efforts and public events have been suspended by several campaigns across our slate as candidates look to protect their volunteers, campaign staff and the population.
Right now we are faced with finding innovative ways to deal with the challenges the coronavirus poses. This situation means we have to look at grassroots organizing in a whole new way. And in the middle of an election season, it means we need to find solutions fast!
Brand New Congress, in conjunction with health professionals, leaders in the movement, and our candidates are devising a plan to continue outreach to reach voters safely.
