Joint Canvass for Dr. Flo and Katie V.!

We're building a grassroots movement to elect Dr. Flo Cofer as the next mayor of Sacramento, and to re-elect Katie Valenzuela to the city council. Together we're organizing to create a city where everyone can afford housing, feel safe, and have a voice in our future. We need all hands on deck in order to overcome a powerful political establishment. This is a people-powered campaign fueled by volunteers like YOU. Join us to knock on doors and talk with voters about the changes they want to see in the city. Don’t worry if it’s your first time. We’ll provide training, materials, and everything you need to get started. You’ll also be paired up with a buddy unless you want to go off on your own. Lunch will be provided. Join us to keep growing the movement! |

Mutual Aid |

Join the Mutual Aid Committee for our next Mutual Aid Monday meal & supply distribution on Monday, December 11th starting at 5:30 pm! We meet at the corner of 10th & I st. at Cesar Chavez Park. Come find out what we're all about and how you can get involved! We have a variety of ways for you to help out in person. Donations and volunteers are always needed, especially as the cold winter ramps up! Can't make it out to distributions but want to support? You can make an ongoing donation here. In addition to all the work our comrades are doing to stand with CAPS, is also hosting a reading group! We will be discussing Rules To Win By, a guide to union negotiations and more by labor organizer Jane McAlevey.

Steering committee meetings are hosted on Zoom every Tuesday from 7:00 - 8:00 pm. You can register for those meeting here.
*Steering committee will not be meeting on December 19 and 26 for an end of the year break.
