On Sunday, Mike Johnson will be in New York as the special guest at SEVERAL high-dollar fundraisers for Congressman Lawler. One of them will be hosted by the private equity firm Blackstone’s CEO and the other by Tony Sayegh—Donald Trump’s former senior adviser.

John, it doesn’t get much more MAGA than this. Mike Lawler will say he’s moderate on television, then turn around to fundraise with the worst of the extreme MAGA goons and corporate cronies. He does not deserve to represent this district.

The audacity of Mike Lawler to fundraise with Mike Johnson, a Christian nationalist election-denier who wants to ban abortion and cut Social Security and Medicare, is shameful but not at all surprising when you look at his record.

Not only did Mike Lawler vote for Mike Johnson for House Speaker, but he also voted to strip access to abortion care from our servicemembers, overturn a gun safety regulation, decrease access to Social Security, and defund law enforcement. He even supports the baseless impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. The list goes on.

Now, he’s fundraising with a senior Trump advisor and the architect of the plot to overturn the 2020 election. If this, and his voting record, aren’t enough to make Mike Lawler a MAGA extremist, I don’t know what is.

Tickets for these fundraisers are going for upwards of tens of thousands per head, so Mike Lawler is likely to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars in a single night. Rush an immediate donation to ensure we have what it takes to go up against Lawler’s MAGA war chest and flip NY-17 blue.
