John,
News broke over the weekend about one of the biggest insults to veterans in years.
While the VA has done everything in its power to prevent veterans from accessing needed care in the community, it has also been managing care for unauthorized migrants.
The VA has sent veterans to the back of the line, while managing access to care to those who did not earn it.
This treatment of veterans is unacceptable. We can’t allow it to happen any longer.
CVA Senior Advisor Darin Selnick discussed this failure at the VA on Fox & Friends Weekend on Saturday:

Ironically, this story has proven something we already knew - care in the community works. It’s a necessary and useful tool for ensuring veterans get quality care quickly.
But in order to work, the VA has to have its priorities straight. It can't be blocking veterans from accessing care, causing a massive wait time backlog, while also managing the care of unauthorized migrants.
The VA’s priorities should always be to put veterans and their health care needs first.
Veterans earned that care.
Please take a few moments to learn more about this story and take action to ensure veterans get access to the care they deserve.
