Fellow Taxpayer, ​​​​​​​By now, you may have heard some of the news surrounding the recent Democratic Debates. The most recurring point was the attempt by the various candidates to provide more government benefits.

Dear Fellow Taxpayer,

You have probably heard about the recent Democratic Debates and the news surrounding them.  The most common point advocated by nearly every candidate--giving each of us more governmental benefits. 

Some  Democrats are promising a "One Size-Fits-All, Single-Payer Health Care System" costing as much as $3.2 trillion a year, as well as the "Green New Deal" that could cost as much as $9.3 trillion a year and free college, costing $125 billion a year. 

Few believe that we can afford to pay for the potential costs of these Democratic plans without rapidly expanding the National Debt--a prospect that doesn't seem to offend many Republican lawmakers.

Everyone knows that spending like this eventually means the rest of us  will have to pay either with higher taxes or suffer the effects of the inevitable inflation that has always followed uncontrolled spending and spiraling national debt.
