So today, we’re asking 1,000 supporters for their thoughts on the Affordable Care Act.

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) has been a resounding success!
  • After passing in 2010, the ACA provided health insurance to over 40 million Americans
     
  • Provided over $11 billion in funding for community health centers
     
  • Expanded Medicaid which helped millions of low-income Americans find affordable care

Ending the Affordable Care Act would have devastating consequences:
  • Nearly 20 million people would lose health insurance
     
  • Protections for 135 million Americans with pre-existing conditions like cancer, diabetes, or asthma would be removed
     
  • States would lose $135 million in federal funding for programs like Medicaid
