John, this is absolutely ridiculous.

The Franklin County Democratic Party has mailed out their sample ballot — and my name is not on it. Because the party endorsed my opponent, they did not list me. This sample ballot will be handed to voters at early voting sites and Tuesday’s polling stations, but it is misleading and undemocratic.

Rather than informing voters about all the Democratic candidates on the ballot, the party has chosen to protect the status quo by making its progressive challengers invisible.

We have to combat the narrative that there is only one Democrat running for U.S. Congress for the people of this district. I am running to represent this district as a Democrat, and I will be on the real ballot as the only choice for bold, progressive change.

Give now to ensure we have the resources to counter this sample ballot at the doors, at polling stations, and in the community. Voters have a real choice and an opportunity to vote for a platform they believe in.
