Since the day Roe v. Wade fell, we all knew what would follow: anti-choice Republicans working around the clock to restrict reproductive freedom in every state across the nation. And that's what happened, especially in Texas, where anti-choice legislators passed laws prohibiting nearly all abortions even before we lost Roe's protections.

Now, 20 women and two doctors are fighting back -- by suing the state of Texas and arguing before the state Supreme Court that the medical exemptions to its abortion ban are too narrow and put pregnant people's lives at risk.
