Today, Governor Kemp introduced his plan to accelerate the largest income tax rate cut in state history. This is great news for hardworking Georgians across the state. |
By accelerating the reduction, the tax rate for 2024 will be 5.39% instead of the 5.49% set by HB 1437. This will mark a cut of 36 basis points from the 2023 rate of 5.75%.
