John, just as expected, Donald Trump is flaunting the fall of Roe v. Wade in his campaign ads and platform. 

The reversal of Roe v. Wade is nothing to celebrate. That's why I'm working tirelessly to defend the reproductive freedoms all people are owed, and I'm calling on 5,000 supporters to do the same.

Before my midnight deadline, will you sign my petition to join my fight to protect reproductive justice?

John, I'll never relent in the fight for reproductive justice – because for me, this fight is personal. 

When I was a teenager, I got pregnant. With the help of my mother, I made the decision to get an abortion. But with no access to the health care I needed in the U.S., I had to travel from my home in California to Mexico to receive an abortion.

I knew that I could die – because at the time, Black women were disproportionately dying from septic abortions. And I knew that I could be put in jail – because getting an abortion was a criminal offense. It was traumatizing. 

And now, because five conservative Supreme Court justices let their political agenda blind them, millions of people today are just as terrified as I was as a teen.

John, listen to me: We cannot stop fighting for reproductive freedom until we all have access to reproductive care. That's why I've championed expanding reproductive care for years – and that's why I refuse to sit back while Donald Trump brags about a decision that has harmed and will continue to harm millions of Americans. 

So I have to ask, before my petition closes at midnight tonight, can I count on you to add your name to my petition to protect reproductive justice?
