Governor Holcomb and Indiana’s healthcare professionals are working hard to keep Hoosiers healthy during the current coronavirus outbreak.

That’s why Indiana is taking actions now that will reduce the spread of the virus, including:

• Limiting non-essential gatherings to fewer than 250 people
• Granting schools a 20-day waiver of the requirement for 180 instructional days
• Instituting social distancing at child care and adult care facilities 
• Restricting and screening visitors at nursing facilities and hospitals
• Suspending visitation at the Indiana Department of Correction 
• Limiting public exposure for older adults and those with known underlying health issues
• Encouraging businesses to utilize telework policies, if possible
