Trump doesn’t understand our Military or our Veterans because he doesn’t understand what it means to serve anyone but himself.

VoteVets

Facts are tricky, John.

Trump has a TV ad up in Iowa right now, shoring up support before the first caucuses and primary elections of the 2024 GOP presidential primary.

The ad is about how great a supporter of our Military and our Veterans he is. Don’t bother looking it up — it’s the same BS that every Republican trots out in their campaigns after they’ve taken votes to defund the VA, privatize care for Veterans, or take promised benefits away from Active Duty.

But we’ve got receipts, Donald. Your record is clear.

On amputees, Trump said: “No one wants to see that.”

When planning a Military parade, Trump didn’t want to include wounded Veterans. He said: “This doesn’t look good for me.”

About John McCain and countless POWs: “I like people who weren’t captured.”

At the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in France, the burial site of 1800 Americans who fell at Belleau Wood: “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.”

This isn’t just hearsay. Many of these are verified by former members of Trump’s administration, including the former chair of the Joint Chiefs and Trump’s former Chief of Staff.

Trump’s got his own facts, but this is the truth: Trump doesn’t understand our Military or our Veterans because he doesn’t understand what it means to serve anyone or anything but himself. He’s no friend.

And VoteVets will go to great lengths to remind everyone — Active Duty, Veterans, Military Families, and anyone in between — of that.

So please, rush a donation to VoteVets. $5 or whatever you can afford. We will spend every dollar holding the GOP accountable, every dollar to elect Veterans who share our values, every dollar to beat Trump.
