The morning after Super Tuesday, many progressives were kicking themselves.
With the country focused on the presidential race, "Trump’s Favorite Democrat" Congressman Henry Cuellar barely eked out a 51.8% primary victory against bold progressive Jessica Cisneros. In a heavily blue district, we almost replaced someone with an A-rating from the NRA and many corporate groups with an immigration and human rights attorney who supports Medicare For All and a Green New Deal.
We came so close. We can’t let this happen again. We have another chance this Tuesday!

Marie Newman (IL-3) is running against pro-corporate, anti-choice, anti-LGTBQ rights "Democratic" Congressman Dan Lipinski in a deep blue district Clinton won by 15 points. Dan Lipinski inherited this seat from his father and then voted against Obamacare, voted to deregulate Wall Street, co-chairs the Pro-Life Caucus, and was the only Democrat in Congress to oppose an LGBTQ equality bill. Marie is running on Medicare For All, reproductive rights, and equal rights. Thousands of PCCC members donated to her last cycle when she came just 1% away from defeating Lipinski -- and over 4,000 have already donated this cycle to help her finish the job. Morgan Harper (OH-3) is running against Joyce Beatty who has taken over $2 million in corporate PAC money, worked with Republicans to gerrymander this very-Democratic seat, and recently trash talked Medicare For All and a Green New Deal. Morgan was previously a senior adviser at Elizabeth Warren's Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The NY Times reports "there are similarities between Ms. Harper, 36, and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York" as she campaigns against economic segregation. Last quarter, Morgan raised a whopping $333,000 in grassroots donations -- $80,000 more than the incumbent who accused Morgan of raising “false hope” by backing Medicare For All and the Green New Deal. Morgan and Marie have built strong grassroots campaigns filled with enthusiastic volunteers. But their campaigns are facing extra Get Out The Vote challenges with the coronavirus. In Morgan's district, the local university (which supplies a lot of her volunteers and young voters) just cancelled all in-person classes, meaning many students may not be in the area!
