Hello Fellow District 6 Community Members,
It’s been 5 weeks since I announced my candidacy to be the next Hennepin County District 6 Commissioner. I’ve been working hard to connect and meet community members all across the beautiful district while learning more about the issues residents care most about.
As a State lawmaker, I am also preparing for session that starts in February - during the many meeting I have had over the past few weeks, is clear that the work of the County and State, the overlap, partnership and collaboration is critical from addressing clean drinking water to funding local projects to investments in mental health. It also affirms that my experience as a three-term legislator and a former mental health therapist will be an asset to the Hennepin County Board.
