It shows anti-choice Republican Dave Reichert ahead of Bob by two points. It’s a clear sign that we’ve got work to do to help Bob pull ahead and win next November.
But there’s another factor complicating things even further. Starting December 8th at midnight, Bob is subject to a total fundraising freeze. Any donation we receive during this period, we must return — and it lasts until the spring!
And here’s the real kicker: the freeze only applies to state elected officials. Reichert is not an elected official, so he can fundraise for months while Bob cannot!
