96 [link removed] Friend,
Did you see the
news last week?
Our nation’s incredible economic resurgence under
President Trump is still going strong. In February, the U.S. economy
added 273,000 new jobs. The national unemployment rate stands at 3.5%…
the lowest level in more than 50 years.
Here in Georgia, we added 9,800
jobs in January. It’s a stronger than usual start to the year, and our
unemployment rate is at 3.1%!
The latest numbers from our state
Department of Labor show that our pro-growth policies are paying big
dividends. But this story is about a lot more than just numbers on
paper.
This is about building an ever-stronger culture of opportunity
in EVERY corner of Georgia... and we’re just getting started!
Today, we
have a record number of Georgians in the workforce. Our state is the No.
1 place for business in America for the seventh year in a row. And of
the 371 economic development projects announced by the state in 2019,
79% were outside of Atlanta.
We’re building a better Georgia, and we’re
not going to leave ANY area of our state behind.
Thank you for your
support in the fight for smart, conservative, pro-growth policies that
are helping our businesses succeed and families thrive.
