There is a remarkable difference between Democratic governance and what happens when Republicans are in charge. Just think about the last month. It could not be any clearer. Here are two, polar opposite legislative priorities:

• Two years ago, Democrats passed our historic infrastructure law. This landmark investment (which every day proves its value in new jobs, clean energy modernization, and critical community improvements) will be looked back on in a generation as a big turning point for so many families and communities across Washington state and America.
• House Republicans, well... They recently voted near-unanimously to deny funding for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to do research on gun violence death prevention. Just research on a uniquely American problem.

We could do this all day on a variety of issues, and this is the heart of why I am asking for your support. Because, in 2024, I want Team Larsen to play a big role in Democrats taking back the House.

Petty squabbles that literally brought our entire government to a standstill. Attacks on Social Security, Medicare, and reproductive health care. Unending devotion to a former President that is currently on trial for massive financial fraud.

It is embarrassing to say, but it must be said: this extremism and chaos is what Washington D.C. Republicans are offering America.

I have always been candid with you about why I first ran for office. Bright lights and national media coverage are not what matters when we have the opportunity to come together as a people to do right by struggling families and hard-hit communities.

But this chaotic Republican media circus where every act is in service to the most extreme and unrepresentative part of their base — it is no way to lead a nation.

We have a tremendous opportunity in 2024. By electing leaders across this country who are going to put people over politics and who will get things done.
