Far-right, anti-choice activists are working to push radical “Sanctuary Cities for the Unborn” ordinances in North Texas, which, if passed, will prevent women from leaving the state to access the care they need and deserve.

And here’s the worst part… they’ve already been successful in a handful of cities.

It's increasingly evident that pro-life activists don’t care about women’s health, and now, it's apparent they're also ignoring our economy’s health. Abortion bans cost the state nearly $15 billion dollars a year. Isn’t it ironic how fiscal conservatives, known for pinching pennies, are nonchalantly hemorrhaging money on these bans?

That’s why we’re fighting back, John. Cities are passing these laws as we speak, and in this fight, every second counts.

The highways that go through cities like mine in Amarillo, Texas are key battlegrounds in the fight for reproductive freedom in the South, and it’s the GOP’s next big target.
