John, let’s talk about North Carolina for a second. As a proud North Carolinian, I think this is the best state to live in and raise a family.

But radical Republicans are set on dragging us backward, making North Carolina less welcoming for women and LGBTQ+ folks, defunding our public schools we’ve always been so proud of, and making it harder to vote.

We’ve seen right-wing attacks like HB2, the bathroom bill, hurt business here in North Carolina. And now, extremists in the NC GOP are once again putting this state’s future in jeopardy.

John, we HAVE to defeat radical Republicans and their dangerous, partisan agenda to secure a brighter future for our state. That starts by winning the Governor’s office — but right now, our toss-up race is too close for comfort.

Our race is as competitive as it gets, and with a new multi-millionaire opponent in the mix, it’s more urgent than ever that we keep our fundraising numbers strong. This is why I’m personally asking for your immediate grassroots support.

As your next Governor, I’ll fight to restore access to reproductive rights so women can get the care they need right here in North Carolina. I’ll stand up for voting rights because every voter deserves an equal say in the outcome of our elections. And I’ll work with law enforcement to keep criminals off the street and keep our communities safe.

In North Carolina, all should feel welcome and all should have a fair shot at prosperity. That’s the brighter future this campaign is about. And we can create it — together.
