Friends and Comrades- Thank you to everyone who braved the chilly temperatures and showed up to keep the pressure on our elected officials to demand a full cease-fire in Gaza. We are a part of an ever-growing chorus of people who are demanding an end to the continuing apartheid and genocide being perpetrated on the Palestinian people by the Israeli government. The pressure is working! If you're able, please contact our elected representatives and let them know that enough is enough!?

At our General Meeting yesterday, the chapter approved the creation of a Socialists in Office Committee. This committee will meet with local Socialists in elected office to get updates from them on what's happening in their elected body and to give feedback to the Socialists what our chapter priorities are. This committee will be appointed by chapter leadership. If you are interested in being a part of this committee, fill out the Google Form at this link.

We're continuing the reading group this weekend for Ralph Miliband's Marxism and Politics. We'll be reading Chapter 3 (Defense of the Old Order: I). Our reading group meets at 10 AM Saturday, at Ohori's Coffee at 505 Cerillos Rd.
