We're writing today to ask if you can make a $25 split contribution [[link removed]] between Elissa Slotkin and Haley Stevens.

Why $25, specifically?

$25 because Michigan has the only competitive open seat in the country, and will therefore be one of the most expensive and competitive Senate races of the cycle.

$25 because there are now four credible Republican opponents in this race, and big-money donors are preparing to throw their full force behind the eventual nominee as they try to flip this seat red.

$25 because the DeVos family has already contributed $46,200 to one of our Republican opponents – and we know that more ultrawealthy donor money is definitely on the way.

$25 because our FEC deadline is later this month, and we closely track (like hawks!) our fundraising progress to ensure we have the resources to win down the line. We then use our internal benchmarks to guide key strategic investments.

$25 because political experts are pointing to Michigan as a must-win state to win the presidency and protect the Senate majority.

It may not seem like $25 can make a huge difference in one of the most competitive and expensive Senate races in the country, but by the time you get to this point in the email, a few folks have already made their donation.
