Starting today, you can be counted in the 2020 Census with one easy action—checking your mailbox and filling out the self-response questionnaire!
Households in the U.S. will receive—either by mail or hand delivery—an invitation to participate in the census and a unique Census ID code. You can respond online or by phone, and, if you'd like a paper questionnaire instead, you'll receive one by mid-April. It's really that simple.
We can't overstate this—there has never been a more important moment to be counted in the 2020 Census. With an increasingly diverse population, we need a 2020 Census that truly reflects who we are.
After all, communities that aren't fully counted in the census will miss out on political representation, jobs, healthcare centers, funding for children's classrooms, and a host of other crucial resources... for the next 10 years!
This is your moment to be counted, and to amplify your community's stake in getting the resources it deserves.
