Bring on the Convention of States |
‘Last best hope’: Heritage President Dr. Kevin Roberts officially endorsed the Convention of States, which would, under Article V of the U.S. Constitution, consider amendments that impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, and term limits on lawmakers.
- “We have a limited window of opportunity left to save our Republic. I call on states to pass the Convention of the States resolution, which just might be our last best hope,” Roberts said.
- The endorsement “not only reaffirms the importance of the grassroots movement but also strengthens our collective dedication to upholding the nation’s founding principles,” the Convention of States Action said in a statement.
