This year has been monumental for gun violence reform policy. with huge wins at every level of government, from the establishment of the first-ever White House Office of Violence Prevention, to first time funding for community violence intervention in cities like Austin and states like North Carolina.

Our Policymakers for Peace network spotlights the crucial work of elected officials of color representing communities directly impacted by gun violence. From city councils to Congress, these dedicated leaders are stalwart champions of life-saving policies that are advancing our fight against this American public health crisis. Their innovative solutions center survivors and empower the most vulnerable communities in our ongoing battle to eradicate gun violence.
