I am reaching out to make sure you have the best available information to protect and care for yourself and your loved ones as we learn more about the coronavirus pandemic.

House Democrats have already passed an $8.3 billion funding bill to slow the spread of COVID-19 in the U.S. This money will be used for ongoing prevention efforts, making sure states have the medical supplies they need, vaccine development and accessibility, and even low-interest loans for impacted small businesses.

We are also working on additional legislation to protect the most vulnerable. This includes making all coronavirus testing free and addressing the unique challenges for folks experiencing homelessness and anyone without access to paid leave, well-stocked grocery stores, or childcare during school closings.
