As we bid farewell to an exhilarating year, I am reaching out to you to say one great big THANK YOU!
Thank you - because it is your passion, your voice, and your support that have been the heartbeat of CitizenGO's triumphs in 2023.
And what a ride it's been!
Our relentless commitment to fostering a world that respects life, family, and liberty has echoed across the globe, and together, we've made significant strides.
The radical left threw everything at us — scorn, ridicule, intimidation, and even prosecution — in hopes of silencing us on critical issues in the United States and across the globe.
Let them lose hope because they won't be able to silence us…
CitizenGO – which includes you and thousands of like-minded citizens globally – has vigorously opposed and contested countless detrimental bills and policies around the world that sought to destroy life, undermine family values, and threaten fundamental freedoms.
And we have come out victorious!
The impact of our collaborative efforts is evident in every victory we've celebrated.
From influencing pivotal policy changes to driving impactful grassroots movements, the past twelve months have been a showcase of what dedicated hearts and united voices can accomplish.
Let's take a moment to appreciate the remarkable achievements we've accomplished together over the past twelve months:
Here in the US, we impacted corporate and policy sectors, notably causing Bud Light's stock price to plummet and forcing the US retailer Target to remove items from its LGBTQ Pride Collection for children and place the remaining Pride Collection toward the back of the local stores. And the Disney franchise continues to suffer under the impact of our voices as we stand against the indoctrination of woke ideology permiating theme parks and movies targetting our children.
The US also stands in solidarity with CitizenGO's worldwide fight against the UN Pandemic Treaty which is faltering in strength as our voices are heard around the globe!
Global Campaigns - In 2023, amidst intense challenges from radical leftists and globalists, CitizenGO's worldwide efforts shone as a symbol of resistance and impact. Our work significantly influenced international policy while countering threats to our fundamental freedoms.
Ahead of the 67th Committee of the Status of Women at the UN, CitizenGO made a significant impact by delivering over 250,000 signatures to delegates from various countries.
Our substantial mobilization efforts and strategic groundwork were instrumental in ensuring that Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) was excluded from the final draft.
This crucial intervention by CitizenGO successfully prevented what was perceived as an attempt to promote sexualization and ideological indoctrination of children on a global scale.
In our campaign against the World Health Organization's Pandemic Treaty, we mobilized more than 800,000 people across three campaigns, directly challenging the WHO's attempt to expand its power. Our sustained efforts led to significant disruption and delay in the treaty's negotiation process.
Your involvement in our global campaigns is key. Together, not only do we respond but we also take proactive actions to safeguard our core values, standing firm against radical leftists and globalists' attempts to reshaping society and governance.
Let me now present to you a list of some of our most significant battles and successes in various countries:
United Kingdom - this year, we made significant strides in the UK, successfully lobbying against Scotland’s gender reform law and reinstating Councillor King Lawal. We also achieved legal victories, lifting the transparency order on 19-year old Sudiksha Thirumalesh (patient ST) and securing Isabel Vaughan-Spruce's acquittal for silent prayer.
USA - In the US, we impacted corporate and policy sectors, notably causing Bud Light's stock price to plummet and forcing the US retailer Target to remove some items from its LGBTQ Pride Collection for children.
Italy - Italy saw major victories, with the Lower House declaring “wombs for rent” a universal crime. Our campaigns against gender ideology in schools and sexualizing children’s books gained substantial traction and support.
France - In France, we prevented a drag-queen church performance during Holy Week and stopped an inappropriate children’s show in Lyon, upholding the sanctity of religious spaces and protecting children from pornographic content.
Netherlands - Our petitions in the Netherlands spurred a debate on WHO guidelines and helped maintain abortion as a criminal offense. A campaign against a blasphemous comic about Jesus Christ led to its removal from supermarkets.
Poland - In Poland, we countered media attacks against St. John Paul II and advocated for unborn children's rights, influencing public opinion and legislative discussions.
Austria - Austria witnessed our successful campaigns against an abortion ambulatorium, the removal of a controversial church image, and halting LGBTIQ indoctrination in schoolbooks.
Croatia - In Croatia, our campaign against HRT's LGBT ideology promotion was a landmark success. We also empowered parents by releasing a legal handbook against gender ideology in education.
Ireland - Our Irish campaign successfully advocated for the transfer of a violent male prisoner back into a male prison, addressing both safety and gender policy concerns.
Africa - Our efforts in Africa led to blocking a move to legalize abortion in Liberia, advocating for family values in Kenya, and influencing TikTok to regulate its content.
Canada - In Canada, we achieved the banning of Planned Parenthood in Saskatchewan schools and influenced significant changes in educational policies and free speech protections.
Australia - Australian campaigns prevented the Labor Party from subsidizing abortions and challenged a potential anti-free speech law. We also garnered significant support against the Digital Identity Bill.
Argentina - In Argentina, our campaigns protected the pro-life Civil Association "Gravida," removed Judge Pérez Ballester, and halted a political move against the National Supreme Court. In the recent general elections, our intense campaign against candidate Sergio Massa, who opposes our values, helped lead to his defeat and political change in the country.
Mexico - Our efforts in Mexico led to stopping a satanic temple construction and influenced the Supreme Court's decision-making, ensuring judicial impartiality and transparency.
Brazil - Our campaign in Brazil, influenced the Supreme Court to reconsider an abortion legalization vote. We also successfully advocated for a parliamentary inquiry into land invasions, against gender issue backlash, and defended a public defender's pro-life stance, reinforcing our commitment to justice and life rights.
Latin America - other countries - In Chile, we influenced the new Constitution to reject abortion rights and affirm state responsibility for the unborn, countering the government's extreme-left stance. At the OAS General Assembly, our lobbying efforts curbed the abortionist and LGBTQ agenda. In Honduras, our mobilization against sexual education and gender indoctrination led to a presidential veto, while in Colombia, we successfully defended a Catholic chapel at the international airport from removal, thanks to strong community and church support.
These achievements from the past year are not just our organization's victories.
Our success in defending life, family, and freedom with over 30 victories is due to passionate people like you, from the United States and beyond 50 nations.
The battles we've fought and won would not have been possible without your invaluable support and they are a real testament to what we can achieve when we stand united for the principles we cherish.
As 2023 comes to a close, it's important to remember that our mission is ongoing. The achievements we aspire to in the coming year will also heavily depend on your unwavering commitment
Looking ahead to 2024, we are focusing on several critical endeavors, both within the United States and internationally:
- Protect life, family, and freedom.
- Halt the radical WHO Pandemic Treaty which threatens the fundamental health freedoms of each and every one of us.
- Oppose and defund the radical pro-abortion, LGBT and transgender agendas at the powerful United Nations and their World Health Organization;
- Stop the censorship of Christian, pro-Life, and pro-Liberty voices in politics, on TV, on social media and other online platforms;
- Promote actions to halt the increasing sexualization of children in classrooms, which have turned into centers of gender ideology indoctrination and radical left propaganda.
- Continue to impact elections and legislation in the United States on behalf of life, family, and liberty.
- In the U.S. we will continue our fight against the LGBT woke ideology in our communities standing for the rights of parents to defend their children against the take over of our schools and universities.
I am filled with gratitude for all your efforts and the extraordinary achievements we've made together. It's an honor to stand with you in this mission.
Your commitment to creating a better world is truly remarkable, and together, year after year, we are seeing that we are really making a difference!
Thank you for being an essential part of our journey and for your tireless efforts in championing our shared values.
