Friend,
In light of recent developments, I wanted to
send an update on the COVID-19 outbreak and to share some health and
safety tips for how to minimize your risk of exposure.
If you
become sick with respiratory symptoms, the CDC recommends you stay
home, avoid coming into contact with others, and call your doctor. If
you have recently traveled to high-risk countries or believe you may
have been exposed to the virus, call your healthcare provider or local
public health department first before seeking medical care so that
appropriate precautions can be taken.
In general, please take
extra care to:
-Wash your hands often with soap and water for
at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before
eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing -Avoid
touching eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands -Cover your cough
or sneeze with a tissue or your elbow -Clean and disinfect
frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household
cleaning spray or wipe
