Friend, bees are essential pollinators that play a
crucial role in our planet’s ecosystems, including providing us with 70% of the world’s most nutritious crops.

That massive number can be hard to conceptualize on a global scale, so think of
it this way:

* Bees are responsible for 1 in every 3 bites of food that we eat.
* Without bees, we would have significantly fewer fruits, vegetables, and nuts
readily available to us.
* Less of these crops also means higher grocery prices, worsening the food
security gap for those already facing socioeconomic barriers to access to
healthy foods.

To put it simply — if essential pollinators like bees were to vanish, it would
have tangible and devastating consequences to the world’s entire food supply.

But despite the pleas and scientific data from environmental experts, greedy Big
Ag and pesticide companies continue to market consumer products containing toxic pesticides called neonics , believed to be a primary driver for the recent drastic decline in bee populations.

If we’re going to STOP this mass pollinator die-out and prevent an INSECT APOCALYPSE, we urgently need the Environmental Protection Agency to step up and prioritize people, the planet, and our pollinators above pesticide profits.
