Team, Social Security is at a critical crossroads.

Rick Scott has been fighting tooth and nail to take away vital funding for Social Security — a program that tens of millions of Americans depend on to make ends meet and retire in dignity. He even wrote the plan to dismantle it himself. 

What Scott doesn't understand is that, unlike him, most of us don't have nearly a quarter of a billion dollars lying around — and that when he fights to dismantle Social Security, he's threatening the livelihoods of so many of the people he's tasked to serve and robbing them of the right to retire with the benefits they've earned.
