Dear,
You won’t believe what Devin Nunes is doing now.
He just sued the Washington Post for $250 million -- for accurately reporting that Nunes shared confidential intelligence briefings with Donald Trump.(1)
Nunes is Trump’s biggest lackey in Congress -- and a disgrace to his district. We came within just a few points of defeating him in 2018, and we can finish the job this time. We’re going big with a major ad campaign, in-depth polling to identify the most effective issues, a comprehensive voter guide, and super-effective text-messaging campaign reminding people to vote in November.
Will you donate to help fund our full plan and defeat Devin Nunes?
Devin Nunes’ lawsuit against the Washington Post is just the latest in a string of lawsuits against any journalist who dares to point out his wrongdoings. They’re all frivolous, and there is even a Congressional Ethics complaint against him because he refuses to disclose how he’s paying for these suits.(2)
Nunes must be defeated in November, and we have a complete campaign strategy:
- We’re running an in-depth polling campaign in Nunes’ district to identify the most effective messages to turn voters against him.
- We’re preparing a comprehensive voter guide to make sure voters have all the information they need at the polls.
- We'll run digital ads aimed at people most likely to vote and billboards to reach rural and suburban voters we might not be able to get online.
- Finally, we’ll remind confirmed anti-Nunes voters to vote with a super effective text-messaging campaign.
It’s not enough to just beat Trump in 2020. We need to defeat the Republicans who have been his biggest enablers, starting with Devin Nunes.
Will you donate $5 to help defeat Devin Nunes?
Yours in the fight for our democracy,
Eddie, along with Angela, Anne, Brian, Caitlin, Deepthi, Gabby, Jay, Lindsay, Molly, Raquel, and Tai (the Courage team)
