John,
Giving Tuesday is all about unleashing the power of everyday folks to
transform their communities and the world with radical generosity. And
while Tuesday might be over — it’s always the right day to carry on the
spirit of giving!

There’s so much at stake right now. Since January 2021, 18 states have
imposed legislative or policy bans or restrictions on teaching critical
race theory or to limit how teachers can discuss racism and sexism in the
classroom. Similar legislation or policy restrictions have been introduced
in 26 other states.
But we won’t stop fighting back. Thanks to the support and action of
members like you, Color Of Change’s list of victories to defend Black
history is growing:
* Collected thousands of signatures demanding that textbook publishers
such as McGraw Hill resist efforts to whitewash Black history.
* Helped oust College Board VP Todd Huston, who was instrumental in
advancing right-wing legislation to restrict Black History in Indiana.
* Got children’s book publisher Scholastic to remove the option for
schools to exclude Black and LGBTQ authors and books from book fairs.
When we organize, we win. But there’s no pot of money sitting around for
Black liberation. Color Of Change doesn’t take a dime from corporations or
lobbyists, so we have to fight for every dollar and count on the support
of grassroots donors like you. [ [link removed] ]Will you pitch in $25 or more to our
end-of-year fundraising drive to fuel our campaigns for justice?
