I can guess what you might be thinking: “It’s Sunday! And 2024’s not for a few more weeks!” But I hope you’ll give me a chance to explain why pitching in now is critical to setting the DNC up for success next year and beyond.

The truth is, most races aren’t won by a perfect last-minute TV ad, an incredible debate performance, or by going viral. As we saw just a few weeks ago in Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania, making early, strategic investments in operations and scaling up our organizing efforts in every community, even during what some might call an “off year,” is critical to how we achieve victories.

To win, the work has to start early. So here at the DNC, as we get ready to reelect President Biden and Vice President Harris, win the House, and defend Democrats’ majority in the Senate, we’re laying the critical groundwork now.
