Clan Alpine Wild Horse Roundup Update
The Clan Alpine wild horse roundup ended on November 28th. The BLM captured 1,605 wild horses, and permanently removed 1,415. During the roundup, 22 mustangs were euthanized. Tragedy Strikes Virginia Range
A distressing incident occurred on Nevada’s Virginia Range as a mare was found on November 19th, trapped in an illegally set snare, and severely injured from a likely second snare. She sustained a horrendous injury that nearly severed her leg and ultimately led to her death. The American Wild Horse Campaign and Wild Horse Connection are joining together to offer a reward to bring justice for this mare’s untimely death. Read our press release here.
