Did you know that the Trump Administration is drastically rolling back safeguards designed to protect our drinking water?

According to revised rules coming out of Donald Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the government will no longer have the power to regulate pollutants in wetlands and tributaries that feed into larger bodies of water.

The Obama Administration worked to expand rules surrounding wetlands and tributaries because they understood that pollution dumped in these small bodies of water can flow toward larger water sources like rivers and lakes where we draw our drinking water.
