This week, the Florida Democratic Party declared Joe Biden their nominee, awarding him all 250 delegates without a single vote cast. We firmly stand by the idea that voters should pick their nominee — no one else.
It’s extremely troubling to see. And it gets at the heart of American democracy — we don’t have a kingmaker or a Politburo.
We cannot have a coronation . It is not in the best interest of our democracy, or our party.
