As we start the month, I want to share what I've been up to lately. This week, I introduced the Gas-Operated Semi-Automatic Firearms Exclusion (GOSAFE) Act to meaningfully address the gun violence epidemic. I also celebrated the two-year anniversary of the bipartisan infrastructure law, which has already helped strengthen New Mexico's water and energy infrastructure, roads, bridges, and high-speed internet. But this is only the beginning. Earlier in November, I introduced the Puerto Rico Status Act to ensure Puerto Ricans finally have the right to self-determination after over 100 years of U.S. citizenship. These are just a few of my priorities. It's equally as important to me to hear what your priorities are as I fight to make a difference in the U.S. Senate.
My number one priority is creating a future for New Mexico that is as boundless as our skies, as majestic as our mesas, and as welcoming as our communities. Thank you for all you do to help make this vision a reality. — Martin |
