People with diabetes, one of the most common health conditions in the US, pay on average $1,000 per month for one of the most important drugs on the market.

Some Americans have to ration their insulin, or they can’t afford it and go without. We don’t want to see anyone have to make that choice.

Under the Inflation Reduction Act, Democrats put a $30 cap on insulin costs for Medicare recipients. That cap was proposed for all insulin users, but Republicans stripped the provision for Americans with private insurance.
