Well if not, the holiday slump is a term we use to describe the slowdown in online fundraising towards the end of the year.
It makes perfect sense — we just wrapped up an election season, folks are spending more time with family and less time reading our emails. It’s normal that there are other things on your mind beyond supporting DAGA right now.
But the truth is, our work to elect Dem AGs is year-round. Our 2024 incumbents and candidates are already building the infrastructure they need to win, and early money makes all the difference.
We’re not here to use scare tactics or tell you the sky is falling when fundraising slows down, but we’ll put it plainly: We’d appreciate your support during this holiday slump to help us do our essential work electing Dem AGs and protecting our rights.
