In this past year, there have been more than 300 near misses involving commercial airlines, averaging more than five per week. Why? In 2013, Barack Obama’s FFA chief announced a new plan to make the FFA more “diverse and inclusive”: Air traffic controllers would no longer need to take demanding cognitive assessments before being hired. Instead, all they would need is a high school diploma and the ability to speak English. In other words, all the tests were dumbed down. Now, correlation does not prove causation, but it can point towards it. |
