December Chapter Meeting
Phoenix DSA's final in-person regular chapter meeting of 2023 is being hosted by UNITE HERE! Local 11! A hybrid option will also be available via Zoom. RSVP AT THIS LINK!
Please attend our December regular chapter meeting to discuss the year ahead and reflect on 2023. We will discuss past actions, present plans, and possibilities for the future.
Our membership will vote on two resolutions at this meeting. Please review the following resolutions and direct any questions to [email protected]:
1. Bylaw Amendment Creating a Technology Administrator Position on the Executive Committee
2. Resolution Activating an Electoral Committee for Phoenix DSA

Mutual Aid - RRFM & Holiday Gift Drive
Phoenix DSA's mutual aid committee is Holding a Holiday Gift Drive! Please contact us for drop off locations or join us on December 17 from 8-10am for Tempe Really Really Free Market (located at Daley Park in Tempe) where we will be accepting donations at our table. If you can't attend or drop off a gift, but you'd like to contribute, please make a donation to Phoenix DSA's mutual aid fund! Gifts will be given out to the children of Tempe Really Really Free Market attendees, delivered to shelters, and donated to community members experiencing need under capitalism.
Even if you cannot donate, please join Phoenix DSA’s Mutual Aid Committee to support Really, Really Free Market (“RRFM”) on Sunday, December 17 from 8:00-10:00am in Tempe's Daley Park. Several comrades from our Chapter will be in attendance, providing refreshments and needed supplies or volunteering time and resources to support our local communities.
If you can volunteer your time and efforts please consider attending. Our Mutual Aid Committee has put many hours of hard work into sustaining and supporting RRFM. Anything that we can do to empower their work will be incredibly valuable. Please consider donating. If you are able to provide supplies but you want advice on what to bring, know that diapers, baby formula, and other items for new parents are always in high demand.
Secondhand items are accepted, but be conscious that not everything will be taken, and Comrade Dillon Dugan has to store all the remaining items. PLEASE, do not treat RRFM like a dump.
But this isn’t just a chance to give back. Mutual Aid is about community support - giving what you can and taking what you need. This isn’t charity. If you find something that you need at the Really, Really Free Market, then you can have it. No charge, no catch.
Rally and Vigil for Palestine THIS WEEKEND!
Join Phoenix DSA members at a white coat rally and vigil organized by Mass Liberation AZ, AZ Pali Rally, and the Arizona Palestine Solidarity Alliance on Sunday, December 3, at 5:00pm in Phoenix's Eastlake Park (1540 E Jefferson Street, Phoenix, 85034).
Physicians, nurses, EMT's and other healthcare workers are encouraged to attend in their scrubs or white coats to show solidarity with the Palestinian medical professionals who have sacrificed their safety for the people of Gaza.
