URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Help ensure the survival of two baby orca calves before
they die of starvation! Take action now! >>

Friend — Southern Resident orcas are clinging to survival and are on the verge of EXTINCTION. That’s why when two calves were born earlier this year, environmentalists saw
it as a hopeful sign that there’s still a chance at restoring the dwindling
population of this iconic sea mammal — especially because orca pregnancies end
up in MISCARRIAGE 69% of the time.

Sadly, these two precious calves weren’t born into an easy life, and the mortality rate for newborn orcas is as high as 50%. In fact, scientists won’t assign these two babies names until they survive
their first year.

But right now, these vulnerable babies are at risk of STARVING TO DEATH before they even make it through their first year on Earth. Corporate
overfishing and bycatch is DECIMATING Chinook salmon populations in the Pacific Northwest — leaving orcas without a primary food source.

Friend, will you sit back and do nothing while greedy
fishing corporations prevent any chance that these two newborn calves have at
living long and healthy lives? Or will you step up right now and be a voice for these endangered orcas before
it’s too late to save them? TAKE ACTION NOW: Sign our petition before the
deadline at 11:59 P.M. TONIGHT >>

[[link removed]]The two newborn calves were born into the same pod as Cappuccino and Ripple — two treasured Southern Resident orcas who tragically died within the last few
years from what experts believe to be human-driven causes that are driving the drastic decline of Chinook salmon. And unless we demand bold action, it’s all too likely that these two baby orcas
will suffer the same devastating fate.

Too weak and fragile, these young orcas simply won’t survive their first year on
this planet without enough Chinook salmon, Friend. Unless we demand bold government intervention from the National Marine
Fisheries Service (NMFS), greedy industrial fishing corporations won’t let up — because they care more about profits than the fate of these iconic endangered
whales.

There are ONLY 75 Southern Resident orcas remaining in the wild, including the two newborn calves born earlier this year
— and these defenseless whales are counting on activists like YOU to speak up
for them right away, Friend. We have just a FEW HOURS LEFT to get another 2,901 more activist signatures on
our petition telling NMFS to rein in corporate overfishing and bycatch of
Chinook salmon that’s threatening to WIPE OUT the very last of these beloved
orcas. Can we count on your urgent signature right now?
