As you may know, today, the House of Representatives finally voted to expel the conman who is Congressman George Santos. This historic vote was the culmination of a months-long investigation into Santos's numerous lies and fabrications about his background and qualifications.
Santos' expulsion is a welcome sign that even in these chaotic times, there is still some semblance of accountability in Washington. But, let's not kid ourselves: Santos is just a symptom of a much larger problem. The current House of Representatives is a mess of incompetence, corruption, and obstructionism — at the cost of real progress for the working people of CA-40 and across the country.
In fact, several Republicans supported Santos right up until this last vote – my extremist opponent Young Kim being one of them.

Young Kim voted to protect George Santos’ trail of lies, deceit, and disgrace – and I think this is something California voters should know — and remember next November.
This is why I'm running for Congress. I'm running to bring common sense, decency, and a sense of public service back to Washington. I'm running to fight for the needs of working families, not the wealthy special interests.
Will you donate to my campaign today so we can clean the House and create a Congress that works for the people? [[link removed]]

Now, I'm running for Congress because we need someone who will run toward the problems facing our nation – and solve them, not ignore them. Washington, D.C., is riddled with gridlock, corruption, divisive rhetoric, lack of civility, and too much grandstanding. Career politicians like Young Kim are only adding fuel to the fire, and I know how to put those out." - Joe Kerr
