Speaker Mike Johnson openly defended and voted against expelling George Santos despite a majority of the House members voting for Santos' expulsion. That shows that GOP leadership doesn’t care that someone as ethically and legally compromised as George Santos could lie his way to Congress and then remain in office for nearly a year.

This speaks volumes as to how unfit Republicans are to lead the House chamber. Only returning the House to Democratic control will end the craziness.
